These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AI Resume Maker at https://ai-resume-maker.comand related features, including the resume builder, editor, templates, and download tools (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The service
AI Resume Maker helps you create, edit, and export professional resumes using templates and optional AI assistance. Features may include:
- Step-by-step resume building and live preview.
- AI writing, chat-based intake, and design generation.
- Import from an existing resume file or a public URL.
- Export to PDF or Word.
We may add, change, or discontinue features. The Service is provided as-is and may be interrupted for maintenance, outages, or third-party provider issues.
Payments
Some templates require a one-time payment before AI generation. The price shown on the template includes a design fee and one AI generation. Payments are processed by Razorpay. After a successful payment, that template is unlocked for your account. AI generation for a purchased template can be used once; you may continue editing and exporting the generated resume.
If a payment is captured but your template does not unlock, contact us at support@airesumemaker.app with your account email and Razorpay payment ID so we can help.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the resume content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service you request — for example, to generate AI suggestions, fill a template, or export a file.
You represent that:
- You have the right to submit Your Content.
- Your Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, or you will correct AI-generated text before using it.
- You will not submit content that infringes others' rights or violates law.
Resume drafts stored in your browser remain under your control. We do not claim ownership of your finished resume.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to create misleading, fraudulent, or impersonating resumes or identities.
- Attempt to access private accounts, scrape sites in a way that violates their terms, or submit URLs you are not allowed to use.
- Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or reverse engineer it except as allowed by law.
- Overload our APIs, bypass usage limits, or use automated means to extract the Service at scale without permission.
- Use AI output to violate others' intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
5. AI and results
AI features are tools, not professional career, legal, or immigration advice. Generated text, layouts, and keyword suggestions may contain errors, omissions, or generic phrasing. You must review, edit, and approve all content before applying to jobs.
We do not guarantee interviews, offers, ATS scores, or any employment outcome.
6. Intellectual property
The Service — including software, branding, template designs, and documentation — is owned by AI Resume Maker or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use templates to create and download your own resumes.
You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our templates, design systems, or software as a competing product or template pack.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties such as AI model providers, hosting, search, and page-extraction tools. Their availability, quality, and policies are outside our full control. Your use of content imported from third-party websites is subject to those websites' terms.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESUMES WILL BE PARSED CORRECTLY BY ANY EMPLOYER OR APPLICANT TRACKING SYSTEM.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI RESUME MAKER AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) TWENTY-FIVE U.S. DOLLARS (US$25). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete local drafts from your browser. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if we discontinue the Service, or if required by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, courts with competent jurisdiction over the operator may hear the claim, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.
